"text": "Vehicle Code section 16056 provides for a further step-up effective January 1, 2035, expressed as an increase BY $20,000 for bodily injury to or death of one person, BY $40,000 for bodily injury to or death of all persons in one accident, and BY $10,000 for property damage. Applied to the amounts operative from January 1, 2025, that produces limits of $50,000, $100,000 and $25,000 from January 1, 2035. The statute states the increments rather than the resulting figures, so the increments must not be read as the 2035 limits."
